WHAT IS
iRecord License Plate Access Control
Base Model:
The base version of the product is a standalone appliance, iRecord LPR-104VE which seamlessly interfaces with a gate control logic for opening a gate or a barrier, which could be virtual. It uses Streaming Networks’ innovative OCR technology for reading a license plate of an incoming vehicle, matches it with an authorized list of license plates (whitelist) and automatically actuates a gate or a barrier to allow or deny access to the property. A whitelist can be created in real time as vehicles enter the property, or offline by operating the system in observer mode and adding vehicle plate information from the database. The system has rich video recording, and retrieval options for security and surveillance at entry and exit gates or barriers. The system ensures a convenient hands-free access of authorized vehicles to a gated community or to a corporate facility. It further enhances the security by preventing intrusions.
Enterprise Model:
The enterprise version of the product is a standalone appliance, iRecord LPR-104GS which seamlessly interfaces with a gate control logic or a barrier and operates in conjunction with Streaming Networks’ Guest Management Server (iGS). It uses Streaming Networks’ innovative OCR technology for reading a license plate of an incoming vehicle, matches it with an authorized list of license plates (whitelist or guest list) and automatically actuates a gate or a barrier to allow or deny access to the property.
iGS allows property residents to register an expected guest(s), their vehicle license plate number, estimated arrival and departure times, generates a parking permit and creates a passkey for entry and exit to the property. Upon a successful guest registration, iGS automatically sends a SMS or E-mail to a guest(s) with all the information needed for the visit to the property. Upon guest arrival a SMS is sent to the host to meet and greet the guest(s).
iGS also offers support for community events like concerts, weddings and emergency situations.
