Streaming Networks offers ITU H.263 compliant video encoder and decoder software libraries optimized for TriMedia VLIW processor. These libraries come in two flavors; a low bit rate (LBR) and a high bit rate (HBR). These ITU compliant H.263 libraries are targeted for embedded systems, requiring low memory footprints and are fully optimized to allow concurrent execution of encoder and decoder along with an application, on a single TriMedia VLIW processor.
Well-documented easy to use application programming interface allow developers to control the behavior of these libraries. The sample application provides, functionality necessary to capture video, encode it, decode it, and finally render it onto the video screen.
