Streaming Networks offers a fully ETSI compliant Adaptive Multi-Rate (AMR) software audio codec supporting encoding & decoding of AMR bitstream in “AMR Interface Format 1” (AMR IF1) frame type. The AMR Codec library is targeted for embedded systems, requiring low memory footprint and is fully optimized for TriMedia VLIW processor. The encoder and decoder libraries are available with the TriMedia streaming interface (TSSA).

Well-documented, easy to use application programming interface allow developers to control the behavior of the library. The sample demo provides functionality necessary to capture audio, encode it, decode it and finally render it for listening.
